5 simple steps

Your journey, start to finish

No phone tag, no paperwork. Set up once and book as you go.

1

Choose your package or a single lesson

Pick a lesson pack that suits your budget, or a test-ready package that bundles lesson hours with driving-test attempts. Prefer to start small? Book a single lesson or a 45-minute assessment.

  • Lesson packs and test-ready packages
  • The test fee (including use of our car) is built into test packages
  • Clear pricing - no hidden extras
2

Create your account & pay securely

Set up a free account with your email, then pay by card or Afterpay through our secure checkout. Your hours (and any test attempts) are added to your account straight away.

  • Card or Afterpay at a secure Stripe checkout
  • We never see or store your card details
  • An emailed receipt every time
3

Book your lessons from the live calendar

Open the calendar and pick times that actually suit you. You'll see your remaining hours as you go - and because you've already paid, there's nothing more to pay when you book. Need to change a time? Reschedule from your account.

  • Real-time availability - only open times are shown
  • Your remaining hours update automatically
  • Reschedule or cancel within the booking window
4

Book your driving test when you're ready

When you're test-ready, choose a test slot and confirm you hold a valid current learner's or temporary permit. We arrange the examiner and the car. Test slots open at least 5 days ahead so everything can be confirmed in time.

  • Use a test attempt from your package
  • Subject to confirmation by the examiner and Service SA
  • Permit check up front, so there are no surprises on the day
5

Manage everything from your account

Your account is your home base: upcoming lessons, hours remaining, test attempts left, receipts and messages with your instructor - all in one place, on your phone or computer.

  • See what's booked and what's left at a glance
  • Message your instructor directly
  • Add the site to your home screen like an app

A note on driving tests

Test bookings are subject to confirmation by the examiner and approval by Service SA. You'll need a valid current learner's permit or temporary permit issued by Service SA. If your licence isn't accepted by Service SA for the booking, 50% of the test fee is non-refundable, so we confirm your permit details up front.

Common questions

How do I book a driving lesson with My Driving Trainer?

Everything happens online in five steps: choose a package or single lesson, create a free account and pay securely by card or Afterpay, then book your times from the live calendar. Your hours are added to your account straight away and you can rebook or track everything from that account.

Do you pick me up for lessons?

Yes. Free pickup and drop-off is included across Adelaide and surrounding suburbs, from home, work or school.

Can I book my driving test through you as well?

Yes. Test-ready packages bundle lesson hours with driving-test attempts, and the test fee including use of the dual-control car is built into those packages. A VORT test can also be booked on its own.

Is my logbook signed after each lesson?

Yes. Every lesson counts toward the 75 supervised hours required in South Australia and the logbook is signed on the spot.

What languages are lessons taught in?

Lessons are available in English, Hindi and Punjabi.

Are you a driving instructor?

We are always glad to hear from accredited Motor Driving Instructors in Adelaide. If you hold a current MDI licence, or you are working toward one, apply to join My Driving Trainer.
