A test attempt (Vehicle On-Road Test) is $450 when booked on its own. If you need to cancel or move a booked test, the fee depends on how much notice you give:

How much does a driving lesson cost in Adelaide?
At My Driving Trainer a 60-minute lesson is $110, a 90-minute lesson is $165 and a 2-hour lesson is $220. A 45-minute assessment is $90. Prepaid packages bring the hourly rate down: $525 for 5 hours ($105/hr), $990 for 10 hours ($99/hr) and $1,485 for 15 hours ($99/hr). Free pickup and drop-off is included.
Which lesson package is best value?
The 10-hour package at $990 is the most popular. It works out at $99 an hour, a 10% saving on the standard rate, and suits a learner building skills with regular practice between lessons.
Do prepaid lesson hours expire?
Yes. Package hours must be used within 12 months of the date of purchase. They can be used across any lesson length, so five prepaid hours can be taken as five 60-minute lessons or as a mix of 90-minute and 2-hour sessions, and reasonable extensions for medical or compassionate reasons will not be unreasonably refused.
How can I pay for driving lessons?
By card, Apple Pay or Afterpay through a secure Stripe checkout. Card details are never seen or stored by My Driving Trainer, and a receipt is emailed for every payment.

No. You can book a single lesson and pay as you go. For an experienced or overseas licence holder the usual starting point is the 45-minute assessment at $90, which produces an honest plan so you only buy the hours you actually need.
